OhRec App documentation

Official guides for OhRec App by Peacae — formerly Peacae Recorder. Record, edit in Studio, and export locally in your browser.

What is OhRec App?

OhRec App is a private screen recorder and lightweight video studio from Peacae, formerly known as Peacae Recorder. Use OhRec to capture a display, window, browser tab, or webcam, polish the result in OhRec Studio, and export a new WebM file — while keeping the original recording unchanged.

OhRec was built by Wekify LLC because existing recorders often lock videos in the cloud — even when you record on your own machine. OhRec stays local-first: no account, no upload, and files you can download anytime. Read how OhRec started — including the Kifuliiru language work behind it.

OhRec mark: a blue video frame with a glowing record disc in the center — a live camera on a screen
The OhRec mark — a video frame and a live record disc. The glow means the camera is on.

The mark is a video frame with a glowing record disc. The frame is what you capture; the glow is a live lens — recording is on. Read what the mark means, or see it on the About page.
