Export from Studio

Save your edited video as a new local file in OhRec for Windows.

Last updatedOctober 2026

Export your edit

Open Export video in the desktop Studio, choose a file name and an available preset, then wait for rendering and saving to finish. Keep OhRec open until export completes.

Your original recording stays unchanged. Play the exported file to check video and audio before sharing it.

MP4 and WebM

OhRec prefers MP4 when a supported encoder is available and uses WebM otherwise. Available formats depend on the codecs supported by your setup.

Resolution and framing

Choose an available output preset suited to the destination. A lower resolution can reduce file size and rendering work.

Vertical video

Set the project framing to 9:16 for portrait video. Review the crop and overlay positions before exporting, especially for content originally recorded in landscape.

If export fails

Check free disk space and that the source media is still accessible. Try a shorter edit or lower-resolution preset, then retry from Studio. Keep your original recording as a backup.
