Download and install
Use the Windows installer on the download page. Open OhRec after installation. Windows is the currently offered platform.
Devices and permissions
Connect your microphone and camera before recording. If a device is unavailable, check its Windows privacy settings and whether another application is using it.
Floating controls and shortcuts
OhRec provides a floating control pill, presenter bubble, tray actions, and global recording shortcuts. Use them to stay focused on the app you are capturing.
Recordings on disk
Choose a save folder in OhRec. Existing installations may use a Videos/Peacae folder; the older folder name keeps existing libraries compatible. Verify your configured folder before moving or deleting files.
Studio is built in
Open recordings in Studio inside the same desktop app. Trim, add captions and overlays, and export a new video without uploading your footage. The website is not required for recording or editing.
